Luggeweerskiet is 'n skole skiet sport wat uit 'n 3P
(3 posisies) bestaan, 'n Lê, Staan en Kniel
asook 'n 10m Staan.
Luggeweerskiet is ook 'n sport om kinders te leer hoe om met 'n vuurwapen te werk, asook om kinders sover in die sport te vat dat hulle eendag self besluit om aan te gaan met die skiet sport en om hulle top punt die Olimpiese Spele te maak.
Die doel van LIMPSSU is om skoleskiet te
bevorder op skole vlak.
Air Rifle Shooting is a school shooting sport that exist a Prone, Standing and Kneeling and a 10m Standing.
Air Rifle Shooting is also a sport to teach children how to work with a firearm and to take children so far in the sport that one day they can participate further in the shooting sports and to make their top mark the Olympic Games.
The goal of LIMPSSU to promote school shooting
at school level.

AIR RIFLE SHOOTING DISCIPLINES
All Air Rifle events are shot indoors over a distance of 10m at standard SANSSU air rifle targets using 4.5mm ammunition.
The following classes is available:
SPRINGER CLASS: This is the traditional air rifle (or pellet gun) where a springer is compressed (normally using the barrel as a lever). Except for the use of target shooting diopter sights the rifles are standard.
SPORTER CLASS – This is a more advanced target PCP type target rifle. The make and models that may be used must be approved by SANSSU with no internal modifications. The most popular rifles are the Air Arms MPR and the CZ 200T No special shooting clothing that provides additional support is allowed.
PRECISION CLASS – This is the top class as shot at the Olympic games. The rifle is a dedicated target air rifle that allows many adjustments to fit the individual shooter. Special shooting clothing and shoes as defined in the SANSSU rules are allowed. This allows some support to the shooter.
